Extreme Marketing Challenge

This challenge happened on January 24. The participants were all from the marketing students. There was 10 teams and 11 challenges.

The game was like the very famous TV show, The Amazing Race. It required them to run through the whole campus so the players really sweat it all out. It started at around 9am and ended at 12 noon. Some of the challenges are Spot the Difference and Bon Apetite'. In Spot the Difference, there are five pictures and each member of the team will find what's different in the picture from that of the others. The other challenge, Bon Apetite was indeed more challenging. They were given food that's disgusting to eat. Well at least, not as disgusting as those of Fear Factor. Some of the food served was pandesal with peanut butter and bagoong. Another is Lucky Me Supreme with powdered milk. Wow, that's really a tough combination to swallow.
KUNDIRANA..

Gary V. and Kundirana Concert

I can say that this event was the most anticipated event of all the activities during the Lasallian days. Most of the students really wanted to watch. But unfortunately, the tickets were limited and only those who were lucky enough to get one got the chance to watch it.
As we all know, Gary V. is known for his outstanding talent for dancing and singing. He is remarkable in performing and entertaining the audience in general. With him are the endowed Kundirana, an all boy group from La Salle who were also, as from what I have heard to those who watched, were remarkably talented as well.
According to my friends, it was really ecstatic to watch because they performed a lot of songs. It was so different when you watch it on TV and when you see it live. I know some who weren’t fans of Gary V. who had a change of heart when they watched him. He is, according to them, really deserving of the title “Mr. Pure Energy”.
The event was assisted by some tourism students as usherettes. The event started at around 6pm and finished at about 9pm.
